Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Absidmetab ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Services

Absidmetab provides professional upholstery and furniture restoration services throughout Canada, including:

• Furniture reupholstery and restoration
• Antique furniture restoration
• Custom upholstery projects
• Fabric selection consultation
• Furniture repair services
• Pickup and delivery services

Service Terms and Conditions

Estimates and Pricing

• Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered during the restoration process
• We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding
• All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes

Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% is required before work begins
• Final payment is due upon completion and before delivery
• We accept cash, certified cheque, and major credit cards
• Interest charges may apply to overdue accounts

Project Timeline

• Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed
• Delays may occur due to material availability, complexity of work, or unforeseen circumstances
• We will communicate any significant delays promptly

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about furniture condition and requirements
• Remove all personal items from furniture before service
• Provide safe and accessible pickup and delivery locations
• Inspect completed work promptly and report any concerns within 7 days
• Make payments according to agreed terms

Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from completion date. This warranty covers:

• Defects in construction or materials
• Premature wear due to faulty workmanship
• Structural failures related to our work

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse or abuse
• Damage from pets, children, or accidents
• Fading due to sun exposure
• Fabric defects or manufacturer warranties (covered separately)

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for:

• Consequential or indirect damages
• Loss of use or enjoyment
• Sentimental value
• Pre-existing damage or conditions
• Acts of God or circumstances beyond our control

Pickup and Delivery

• Delivery fees are based on distance and complexity
• Customer must be present during pickup and delivery
• We are not responsible for damage to property during delivery
• Customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access
• Items not collected within 60 days may be considered abandoned

Cancellation Policy

• Orders may be cancelled before work begins with 48 hours notice
• Cancellation fees may apply for custom orders or special materials
• Deposits may be refunded less any costs incurred
• Work in progress cannot be cancelled without payment for completed work

Storage and Abandonment

• Completed items must be collected within 30 days
• Storage fees apply after 30 days
• Items not collected within 60 days may be considered abandoned
• We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned items after proper notice

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Dispute Resolution

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, or government actions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
